Cleo Collar – a new amber necklace

⊆ September 11th, 2009 by Caroline03 | ˜ 1 Comment »

New amber necklace on the market! So I have always really loved the Cleopatra necklace, which is also one of our best sellers. But I decided I wanted to design a piece that was similar but a little simpler to highlight the beauty of the multicolor amber. What we came up with is the most beautiful piece of amber we have had in some time. I am calling it the “Cleo Collar” in keeping with the Cleopatra line. This piece is a bit lighter than the full Cleopatra, and thus costs a bit less, but has a beautiful impact with a classic line.  Our artist used the finest pieces of Baltic amber and I think she has really outdone herself with the quality of this necklace.

World of Beads

⊆ May 11th, 2008 by Caroline03 | ˜ No Comments »

A freshly struck spring trend is just what we need! Fresh from the catwalk like a paper hot off the press word spreads like wildfire when an overwhelming trend like this hits the scene.
Bouncing back from a period of sparkle and high polished glamour, we are seeing a return of chunky beads that have the feel of handmade jewelry. Bold Beads flooded the spring catwalks. Designers such as Marc Jacobs, Miuccia Prada and Alberta Ferretti were featuring pop-culture inspired brightly colored beads in primary and turquoise colors. Other designers such as Cacharel, Giles Deacon and Etro combined wooden and turquoise pieces with the African inspired prints. The trend sees in a new appreciation for our talent as humans to create with our hands the designs and styles inspired by, and using those materials that are all around us and come from the Earth.

Star Power- Angelina Jolie- Celebrity Jewelry that sparkles.

⊆ October 6th, 2007 by Caroline03 | ˜ 4 Comments »

At the Venice Film Festival in September Angelina Jolie was spotted on the red carpet in these fabulously classic triple stranded pearls. These are exactly like the pearls that Jackie Kennedy Onassis famously wore, and just goes to show you that a classic like this will last for ages. These are a great investment actually, and we have actually found a genuine set of cultured pearls in a triple strand just like these that Angelina is wearing for less than $170! These pearls will last for a lifetime, and are so perfect for that little black dress. It is great to see a celebrity wearing jewelry that the rest of us can actually afford to buy!
